At home, Alex cuts his own hair and I trim up the back. It's cheap, it's relatively easy, and we're getting better at it.

Without his trusty clippers, though, his mane started to get a little shaggy.

We haven't had a day under 104 degrees Fahrenheit (40 C) in over a week and won't again for... well, possibly until we fly back to the US. Hair & heat make for a sweaty, sticky helmet, so Alex decided to do something about it.

For 200 Baht ($5.70), Alex got a snazzy new cut and I got some cuddle time with an adorable pooch.
