We're Still Here

I know we've been quiet lately, but it's for very good reason -- we've had a very busy few weeks! Since leaving our island paradise, we've been on the move nonstop.

• We spent 5 days in Siem Reap, 3 of which exploring the ruins of Angkor Wat and its surrounding temples.
• We crossed the border into Thailand, navigating a no-man's-land between the two countries and finding a ride into Bangkok.
• I spent two days laid up in bed in Bangkok with a very unpleasant stomach ailment.
• We caught a night bus to Chiang Mai with hundreds of would-be revelers, joining in the three days of Songkran water-fighting and celebration.
• We took a full day cooking class, where we learned to whip up curry, tom yum soup, and pad thai (of course).
• We went on a three day survival hike in the jungle and survived. 

I promise we'll be writing and posting photos, and the like. We haven't abandoned you, just been out on adventures. More soon folks :)
